Capital Theatres are pleased to announce the full cast for this year’s panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (or Dwarves!).
As previously announced, Allan Stewart will be Nurse May, Grant Stott will be The Man in the Mirror, Jordan Young will be Muddles with Clare Gray as Princess Lavinia and Liz Ewing as the Wicked Queen. Francesca Ross takes the title role of Snow White with Brian James Leys appearing as her heroic Prince. The eponymous seven will be played by Jamie John, Josh Bennett, Scott English, Andy Herd, Kyle Herd, Fergus Rattigan and Craig Salisbury with this year’s full line-up including Erin Dodds, Emily Graceling, Amy Kent, Josh Kiernan, Jonathan Milton, Aimee Orr, Luke Perry, Qoobi Robinson, Robert Sharpe and Ruth Warren.
Clare Gray, daughter of the late great Andy Gray, said “I can’t believe it’s that time of year again, but I’m so delighted it is. I am beyond thrilled to be joining the team again for a fantastic panto season. And even more exciting, to be on the wonderful stage of the Festival Theatre. See you all there, woooo!”
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Crossroads Pantomimes, and will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, song and dance numbers and fabulous costumes. Throw in a magic mirror, seven friendly dwarfs, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation and you have the ideal recipe to outwit the Wicked Queen in this glittering festive treat for all ages.
In September 2022, the King’s Theatre closed for redevelopment to improve facilities both onstage and off, as well as preserving the heritage of the beautiful building and ensuring it’s a fitting venue for years to come. While the King’s undergoes this transformation, the beloved panto moves to Capital Theatres’ other large venue, the Festival Theatre in Nicholson Street.
The Panto is sponsored locally this year by McQueen’s Dairies and runs from Saturday 17th December 2022 to Sunday 22nd Jan 2023 with Matinee and Evening performances available.
Wednesday 4th January at 2pm sees a Relaxed Performance, which is a specially adapted show for people on the autistic spectrum and people with additional needs.
Audio Described & British Sign Language performances will take place on Saturday 7th January at 2pm and on Friday 13th January at 7pm.
Touch Tours are available prior to the Audio Described performances.
