The Brunton Theatre Trust has received funding from Musselburgh Area Partnership that is enabling them to bring back their online Craft Café this October.
The online Craft Café gives the opportunity to meet other people interested in crafts and a professional artist online in the Craft Café over the online video-conferencing platform, Zoom. Crafting itself can have huge benefits on mental health and the café gives the added bonus of connecting with others. As well as being a great stress reliever, it is a creative way of keeping the brain focused on something that will give a sense of achievement through both participation and completing a project.
These online workshops will show you how to make a colourful rag rug from any old clothes or fabric you have at home. Everyone is welcome and previous expertise is not required to take part. Meetings take place every Monday for 3 weeks starting Monday 4th October and a small pack of materials will be sent to help you create your masterpiece.
Joining fee is £10 plus an additional £1.50 booking fee.
Book via the Brunton website or call 0131 653 5245
Booking closes Monday 27 September
