Edinburgh Art Festival (EAF), founded in 2004, is the platform for the visual arts during Edinburgh’s festival period in August when it brings together the Capital’s leading galleries, museums and artist-run spaces in a city-wide celebration of highlights in the visual art world.
Following last year’s Festival cancellation, EAF is set to return this summer when it will run from 29 July to 29 August 2021 to chime again with traditional Festival dates. During this period, they will be working with partners across the city and beyond to celebrate the work of artists with audiences safely this summer
Full details will be announced later in the Spring, including Platform, the festival-led Commissions programme that is EAF’s dedicated opportunity for artists at the beginning of their careers, as well as exhibitions from across the city’s visual art organisations, and a rich programme of events in the real world and online.
EAF 2021 is keen to welcome audiences either digitally or in-person and will be giving out more information in the coming months but enquiries are welcome to them in the interim.
