The curtain may have had to fall prematurely on the King’s Panto in 2021 because of Covid, but hope and optimism are in rosy health for the future with the announcement of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs being planned for the 2022 Panto.
With major redevelopment taking place at the King’s, the 2022 Panto will be on the stage of the Festival Theatre where pantomime favourites Allan Stewart, Grant Stott and Jordan Young will take on the respective roles of Nurse May, the Henchman and Muddles in this production from Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer.
All the familiar yet still spectacularly surprising ingredients of comedy, song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery will be there along with, for this show, a magical mirror, seven friendly dwarfs, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation along with, of course, the Wicked Queen.

The story promises some super-sized fun on the Festival’s larger stage and of course we’re delighted to welcome back Allan, Grant and Jordan – mainstays of our Capital Theatres family and firm audience favourites.”
Further casting for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be announced later in 2022 and the new and improved King’s is planned to be ready for Christmas 2024.
Performance dates are Saturday 17th December 2022 to Sunday 22nd January 2023 with matinees and evenings available.
